ZUMBA    
Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow you to dance away your worries. Zumba is not only great for the body, but is also great for the mind. It is a "feel-happy" workout.  ZUMBA is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps. Please wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes.

Belly Dancing/Hip Hop Fusion 
This class emphasizes the natural, uninhibited and expressive movements of the form today.  You will learn to move to the rhythms in your own unique way using every muscle and tendon in your body.  Middle eastern dance is the pulse of life, an enjoyable form of exercise, and a very effective way to a more beautiful, healthier you.

Ages 16 & up (12 –15 year olds may register with a parent/guardian)

BEGINNING BALLROOM
This is a great class for people interested in learning basic ballroom dances.  Students will learn the Waltz, Fox Trot, Latin-including Salsa and Tango, and Polka.  Partners are recommended, but are not required.

PILATES
Want to get long, lean muscles without building bulk?  Pilates is an exercise system focused on the core of the body, which assists in distributing strength evenly throughout the body.  The class will help you increase flexibility, improve posture, build strong, lean muscles, and reduce stress.  All fitness levels can benefit from Pilates.  You don’t need any equipment for the class, just dress comfortable.

VINYASA YOGA
This class will give you an invigorating workout with the stress reducing benefits of yoga.  Various yoga asanas are used to promote flexibility, mental focus, and inner peace.  In this session, we will explore the seven energy centers of the body and breakdown the postures that work in each of these areas.  Mats are provided; dress comfortably.

STOTT PILATES
STOTT PILATES incorporates modern exercise principles, including contemporary thinking about spinal rehabilitation and performance enhancement. There is also more emphasis placed on scapular stabilization. As well, there are more preparatory exercises and modifications to make the method safer and more effective.

This class will allow you to experience the benefits of both Yoga and Pilates to tighten your core and increase your flexibility.  The equipment is provided, so just come dressed comfortably.

INTERVAL
Do you get tired or doing the same exercise routine?  Then here is a class for you that will mix cardio, strength training, and stretching.  Each week will be different to keep you motivated. The equipment is provided, but bring water and wear athletic shoes.

BEGINNING COMPUTERS
Whether you are 52, 62 or 92, you can still learn and enjoy technology!  Gain skills with limited hand/finger mobility.  Learn at a slow pace how to turn computers on/off (without unplugging them!), what a mouse is and how to use it, differences between a keyboard and typewriter, and basic maneuvers in Windows 2000/XP.

SENIOR CLUB

All Elm Grove residents—and even those in surrounding communities—at least 55 years of age, are invited to participate in the Seniors Club. The Seniors Club will meet on the fourth Friday of every month from 11 am to 2 pm to go on fun trips, meet for social events, and many other things. Ideas for additional programs can be directed toward the Village Recreation Director, Amy Mitchell at 782-6700.

Fee: $10 annual membership resident
