Property tax bills are mailed to all property owners on or about December
12th. The municipal tax rate is determined after the approval of the
budget by the Village Board in November. In addition to your
municipal taxes, your bill will include taxes levied by other taxing

Real
estate taxes are payable in one of the following ways:
- In full to the Village of Elm Grove on or before January 31st.
- In 2 equal installments, the first installment due January 31st payable to
Village of Elm Grove; and the second
installment payable on or before July 31st to the Waukesha County
Treasurer.
Personal property taxes are to be paid in full to Village of Elm Grove
on or before
January 31st.
Special Assessments, Special Charges and Other Taxes are to be paid on
or before January 31st to Village of Elm Grove.
Payments before January 31st are payable to the Village of Elm Grove and may
be paid:
- mailed to the Village Hall, 13600 Juneau Blvd., Elm Grove, WI 53122
- in person during office hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
- placed in the lockbox outside the main doors of the Village Hall.
Taxes may be paid by check. No credit cards are accepted. A
refund will be mailed in 7-10 days for any checks received that are greater than
the balance due. Delinquent taxes will be charged interest.

The Village Clerk is responsible for all elections.
Where to vote?
All Elm Grove residents vote in the Community Room at the Village Hall.
This room is located in the basement, below the library. An elevator is
available.
Who may vote?
You must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years of age, and have been a resident
of the Village for at least 10 days prior to the election.
How to register?
You may register the day of the election with one form of identification showing
your name and your Elm Grove address. You may register at the Village
Hall during office hours prior to election day. To register by mail, download
form*. Complete the form, sign, and return to Village Hall. It must be
signed to be valid. The last day to register by mail is always 20 days before an
election.

When to vote?
Elections are always on Tuesday. The Village polls are open from 7:00 a.m.
until 8:00 p.m.
Vote by absentee ballot?
Any qualified elector unable or unwilling to appear at the
polling place on Election Day may request to vote an absentee ballot.
A qualified elector is any US citizen, who will be 18 years of age or
older on election day, and who has resided in the municipality where he/she
wishes to vote for at least 10 days before the election.
An elector must also be registered.

ABSENTEE BALLOT
An absentee ballot can be obtained after submitting a written
request. The written request can be completed in the following ways:

By letter. The letter must
include: your voting address within the
municipality where you wish to vote; the address where the absentee ballot
should be sent, if different than the voting address; and the voter's signature.
- In person.

Special absentee
voting application provisions apply to electors who are indefinitely confined to
home or a care facility, in the military, hospitalized, or serving as a
sequestered juror. If this applies
