It is always the Village of Elm Grove’s intention to try to provide information in the most effective manner possible. Because we are committed to being your link to what is happening in our Village we are asking that you help us make that as easy as possible for you. Whether you are a business interested in upcoming public works projects and developments or a resident interested in the latest on recreation or public safety issues we can provide you with agendas to the meetings where these items will be discussed.

If you give us your name and e-mail address, we will be able to notify you of these upcoming meetings by sending you a copy of the agenda prior to the meeting. All we ask of you is that you select your area of interest from the list of committees and we will add you to the notification list.

You can sign up in either of several simple ways. You can send us an email at villagehall@elmgrovewi.org , complete the "Meeting Notification Request" form below or call 1-262-782-6700 and request to be added to the list. You will be asked to electronically reply to our confirmation e-mail, which shall serve as your acknowledgement that you understand and agree that your e-mail will be subject to open record requests."

The following is the list of current committees and a brief explanation of their areas of responsibility:

	Board of Trustees - Policy making for all Village activities, public hearings and comments
	Administrative and Personnel - All matters involving daily administration, personnel issues
	Finance and Licensing - All liquor and other licenses, budgeting and financial oversight
	Public Safety - Issues regarding public safety such as street signage and regulation
	Recreation - All recreation and park oversight
	Legislative - Reviews and recommends new or amended ordinances
	Plan Commission - Reviews and recommends/approves all business operation plans, new developments or land use and zoning issues
	Building Board - Reviews and approves all architecture for both residential and commercial property
	Public Works/Utilities - All public works projects, storm water and sewer
	Board of Appeals - Hears and rules on administrative appeals
	Library Board - Responsible for the operation of Library
	Police and Fire Commission - Responsible for the hiring and discipline of all police and fire personnel
	Ad hoc Water Committee - Review and recommendation of providing municipal water
	Ad hoc Comprehensive Planning - Review and recommend for approval a smart growth compliant comprehensive plan for the Village
	Ad hoc Beautification Committee - Works toward/promotes the betterment of the community on various landscape and natural issues
	Community Development Authority - Responsible for economic review and recommendation regarding businesses for redevelopment or development
	Joint Review Board - Review and approval of TIF plans and amendments

NOTICE: It is possible that members of, and possibly a quorum of, other governmental bodies of the Village may be in attendance at the above stated meeting to gather information. No action will be taken by any governmental body at the above stated meeting other than the governmental body specifically referred to in the above notice.
