The Village's park and recreational facilities are located in the Village Center at 13600 Juneau Boulevard.  
The park provides an area for residents to participate in many seasonal sports and activities.

THE VILLAGE PARK AND PATHWAYS ARE OPEN FOR USE.  
PLEASE STAY OFF OF ALL NEWLY SEEDED AREAS WITHIN THE PARK.

THE SOFTBALL FIELDS AND SOCCER FIELDS WILL CONTINUE TO BE CLOSED**

The Village Hall, Library, Police Department, and Fire Department will remain open during regular hours.

Village Ordinance §  204-2, Special Hours 
"Any Village park or part thereof may be declared opened or closed to the public by the Village Board of Trustees at any time for any interval of time, either temporarily or at regular and stated intervals, daily or otherwise, and either entirely or merely to certain uses, as the Village Board of Trustees shall find reasonably necessary. "

* *Residents and Village Park users are hereby notified that failure to comply with Village regulations governing use of the park will result in the issuance of a citation from the Elm Grove Police Department that carries a forfeiture amount up to $172.00.

Dogs in the Park

Reminder: Please pick up dog waste.  For your convenience, there are several waste receptacles with free bags throughout the park.  Failure to comply with the dogs in the park regulations will result in the issuance of a citation from the Elm Grove Police Department.

Park Naming

Park Naming Policy

Please take notice that there will be a public hearing during the April 22, 2008 Board of Trustees meeting in the Court Room at 13600 Juneau Blvd., Elm Grove, 13600 Juneau Blvd., Elm Grove Wisconsin at 7:30 p.m. to hear any comments in regard to the naming of the park located at the southwest corner of Legion Drive and Juneau Blvd. formerly known as the Legion Post site.  The Village of Elm Grove Park and Recreation Committee has recommended naming the site “Veteran’s Park of Elm Grove”.  The Board of Trustees will consider and possibly take action on the naming of this park during this meeting.  

Summer Sand Volleyball and Kickball League Information

Co-ed Adult and co-ed High School Sand Volleyball Leagues
There are team openings in the new Co-Ed Adult Monday League and the Co-Ed High School Wednesday League.  Games take place at 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm from the week of June 16 through the second week of August.  (8 weeks of regular play and a tournament) in the Village of Elm Grove Park on the newly renovated sand volleyball courts. The leagues are a purely recreational format. There is a $100 team fee with a $15 per player charge (8 player minimum).  Residency in Elm Grove is not required.  Registration deadline is April 7, 2008.

A volleyball manager meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 19, 2008 in the Village Hall at 5:30 pm for all teams involved.  Schedules, rosters, rules, and player contracts will be handed out to team captains.  It is required that at least one member of the team attends the meeting.

Picnic Area Reservation

Picnic areas may be reserved by Village residents or businesses in Elm Grove.  A non-refundable fee is required for each area being reserved.  There are two picnic areas available for rental.  Picnic Area #1 is located by the pool and includes a large gazebo and is equipped with a large built-in barbeque grill, picnic tables and electrical outlets.  Picnic Area #1 rental fees are:  $105.00 for up to 75 people; $165.00 for up to 150 people.   Picnic Area #2 is located on the south end of the park and includes a small gazebo, grill, picnic tables and electrical outlets; rental fee is $50.00 with a maximum capacity of 50 people.  Reservations are on a first come, first served basis beginning January 2, 2008.  Reservations must be made in person at Village Hall.  Availability may be checked by calling the Village Hall at 1-262-782-6700.  Application for a beer or wine permit must be made if either will be consumed in the park.  Return to top

Village residents or businesses may make pool party rental reservations beginning on January 2, 2008.  The pool is available for private pool parties from June 7 - August 24 on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. for a fee of $225.  The Village Staff will accept your pool party reservation on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Recreation Programs

The 2008 Summer Recreation Guide will be mailed to all Village of Elm Grove postal patrons in mid-April.  Summer registration for residents is scheduled on Saturday, May 17th from 8:00-11:30 a.m.  Resident mail-in or drop-off registrations will be processed after the in-person registration on May 17th.  Non-resident summer registration is scheduled for Monday, May 19th from 8:00-11:30 a.m.  After the May 19th registration, registration will be processed at Village Hall.

The activity guide will be mailed to all Elm Grove residents and will be available at the Village Hall and Library in late April.

Elm Grove Soccer

U-6 through U-10 only:  Registration beginning with the 2007-2008 season will be accepted from current Elm Grove residents, students attending Elm Grove schools, students currently playing in club, and youth whose parents are coaching an Elm Grove Soccer club team.
