Trash Collection Reminders

  • Propane cylinders are not to be disposed of with garbage or recyclables.
  • All cardboard MUST be broken down to be acceptable.

Beginning April 1, 2015 the Village began contracting with Johns Disposal for trash and recycling pickup. Trash and recycling is collected on a weekly basis and will continue to feature "up the drive" service. 

Your collection day is determined by your location within the Village. To see the pick up areas for the Village please view the garbage collection map (PDF). 

In the case of the following holidays, trash will be picked up one day later than normally scheduled (if a holiday falls on a weekend, trash will not be delayed):

Memorial Day
Labor Day
Christmas Day

Independence Day
Thanksgiving Day
New Year's Day

Special pickup of large items can also be arranged through Johns Disposal; please call for instructions and costs. Specific questions or problems can be answered by calling Johns Disposal directly at 262-473-4700.

Reminder: Johns Disposal is not responsible for items which are not meant for disposal but are left within 10 feet of a resident's garbage cans on their collection day.
