[ARCHIVED] Upcoming Youth Book Clubs

Read Aloud Book Club (recommended for Grades K-3)

Monday, March 13, 1:30-2:15 p.m.

The Princess in Black by Shannon Hale and Dean Hale

Sometimes Princess Magnolia is a perfect princess in pink and sometimes she is the Princess in Black protecting her kingdom from monsters.

No preparation needed. We will read as much of the book as we can in 30 minutes and discuss as we go. Copies of the book will be available for checkout afterward if desired. Coloring sheets related to the story will be available for students who wish to color while they listen.

Kids’ Choice Book Club (recommended for Grades 4-6)
Have you read the Kids’ Choice books yet? This book club is for students who want to read good books and talk about them with others. To participate, read at least one of the books listed for each date. If you can read them all, that’s even better. Books are available from all of the public libraries and some school libraries. We will talk about three books each time, so come prepared to convince the others that your favorite should be their favorite, too!
