[ARCHIVED] Christmas Tree Pickup

Christmas Tree

The Department of Public Works will begin picking up natural Christmas trees the week of January 2nd until January 16th, 2023, weather permitting.  Trees must be out by the end of your driveway well before January 16th to ensure your tree gets picked up!  As a reminder, TREES IN BAGS and/or TREES WITH LIGHTS OR DECORATIONS WILL NOT BE PICKED UP!  ARTIFICIAL TREES or FLOCKED TREES go in your regular garbage.  Wreaths, which are normally assembled with wire, go in your regular garbage.  Please also make sure your tree is NOT BURIED after a snowfall.

After pickup is complete, the Department of Public Works will NOT be back out to pick up trees again.  The next opportunity for disposal will be during Recycling Center hours when they resume on Saturdays in March.
