Metronet, in partnership with the Village of Elm Grove, is obtaining the necessary permits to build out its network. Just like other utility companies, Metronet has the right to access the Village's right-of-way and easement areas. The construction phase of this project is temporary, and Metronet crews do their best to minimize the impact to the property.
Metronet has a website dedicated to addressing any questions or concerns residents may have about construction. Visit metronet.com/construction and click on SUBMIT A REQUEST to submit your question or concern. Residents can also call (877) 386-3876; Metronet promises to answer all inquiries and address any concerns within 24 hours (one business day M-F) and to repair any damage occurring during the construction of their network.
Previously, the Village published a Q&A reference sheet in the December newsletter about the project: https://conta.cc/4pEf2uF
