The Elm Grove Community Foundation, Inc. is organized to provide a means by which Elm Grove residents and friends can aid the community in its efforts to maintain high quality institutions, facilities and services, plus provide programs and projects that contribute to and enhance the unique character of Elm Grove.
The Elm Grove Junior Guild was founded in 1966. The Junior Guild has implemented and funded many programs including, the Easter Egg Hunt, Memorial Day Parade, Fourth of July Games, Safety Village, The Children’s Halloween Party, and Breakfast with Santa at the Women’s Club.
In addition to these programs, the Elm Grove Junior Guild has granted funds to the Village to support the following: new playground equipment and brick sidewalks at the village park; welcome signs and banners that grace village streets; life saving equipment for the police and fire departments; books and other supplies for the public library; materials needed to remodel the community room; concerts in the park; and construction of the gazebo.
The Elm Grove Woman's Club was formed in 1939 to focus on cultural, civic and philanthropic goals. It serves the needy, supports our community and provides a wonderful opportunity to make new friends.
Founded in 1977, the Elmbrook Historical Society is an affiliate of the Wisconsin Historical Society. It currently has over 175 members who care deeply about preserving the history of Brookfield and Elm Grove and its historic buildings.
