This group meets just once per week for only one hour to work within public spaces in the village. If you need volunteer hours, want to meet new people, would like to learn more about invasive species, or are just interested in joining an amazing group of people share your email with us! Send your information to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our efforts start in the spring with garlic mustard and end in the fall with buckthorn. IN 2023, the group met 29 Sundays between 11:00 a.m. and noon for a total of 285 volunteer hours devoted to our community!
In the words of Helen Keller, "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."
Each spring the Southeast Wisconsin Invasive Species Consortium (SEWISC) holds a Garlic Mustard Pull-A-Thon. Please help Elm Grove bring home the 2024 trophy this year by documenting all of the garlic mustard and Dame's Rocket you pull within Village limits on this easy, anonymous Google Form below.
