The Inspector shall also investigate the storage and handling of explosives and inflammable liquids within the Village. "Fire hazard" shall include not only dangerous conditions but also the absence of recognized fire prevention devices, warning systems, proper exits and proper exit lights. The Fire Inspector shall make all reports of inspections required by the State of Wisconsin and shall keep a written record card that conforms to the requirements of the state for each property inspected.
For questions on the inspection, please contact the Fire Inspector, Bedros Ohanian, at 262-782-6700. For emergencies, please dial 9-1-1.
After inspection, the Village Clerk will receive the inspection report. An invoice will be sent out for the cost of inspection based on the fee schedule below. If the invoice is not paid prior to October, the unpaid amount will be placed on the tax bill for the upcoming tax season.
