Sustainability Plan

Students from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) School of Architecture and Urban Planning undertook the development of a Sustainability Plan for the Village of Elm Grove in 2025. The Plan was recognized by the Board of Trustees at their regular meeting on August 26, 2025, via Resolution No. 082625B. The UWM students were awarded the American Planning Association’s (APA) Student Project Award for the creation of the Plan.

While this Plan has not been formally adopted by the Board of Trustees, it aims to serve as a foundation for advancing sustainable practices within the Village, including areas such as energy efficiency, natural resource conservation, waste reduction, and community education.


Sustainability Plan
